Dear Friend in the Lord,
Praise the Lord! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. What has the Lord done for you? We are God’s children and sometimes just like our earthly fathers He takes time to correct us but always in love. Get this word and ponder.
“People who accept discipline are on the pathway to life, but those who ignore correction will go astray.” Proverbs 10:17
The Lord loves you too much to let you go too far astray, so He will discipline you. It may be through someone’s direct rebuke, a Scripture that convicts you, or some other means. Today, be open to God's correction of any area of your life that is not right. God’s correction is gentle … and thus easily missed. But it's meant to keep you on the pathway to life. Seek his correction! With God, it's always
done in love. He will always correct us for our good.

God Knows Your Life

I know you are in need of God’s help as I also have but let’s remember one another in prayer. “The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the broken-hearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” Psalm 34:17–18. Sometimes we ask ourselves, “Where is God?” when it hurts, when our hearts are broken? He is always near. If we don't feel God's presence, could it be because we're so overwhelmed by our pain and troubles that we can't feel anything else?
At such times, trust that God is close and that He is watching over you. He does hear and He will rescue you! Today, turn from your pain
to God!
